High School at Penn
The High School Program at Penn School offers a rigorous curriculum that will provide students with a solid educational foundation that prepares them for college and the modern workforce. Our wide array of electives allows students to explore their personal interests in preparation for their college major and/or career path.

Graduation Requirements
Full-time students are required to complete 21 CREDITS to fulfill graduation requirements.
Students must earn a minimum of a 2.0 GPA for all cohort years.

American Literature and History
This is a 2 credit course
The American Literature and History course explores the intersection of literature and history from 1600 to the modern era, examining how key historical events shaped and were reflected in literary movements. Students will analyze foundational texts, engage in critical writing and research, and study major historical developments, including the Great Depression, World Wars, Civil Rights Movements, and America’s rise as a global superpower.

Students can choose from our diverse elective courses to explore personal interests and prepare for college and career paths. Most electives are half-credit courses, allowing students to take up to eight, all of which must be for original credit and cannot be taken at their local school internationally.

Who can apply?
Penn School's high school program accepts any high-aged students eligible for 9th through 12th Grade. Students must be under the age of 20.
What support do students receive from their teachers?
ALL courses include full support from our Teachers and Counselors. Students have a certified teacher for every course available by phone, audio/video chat, instant message or email. Students also have an academic advisor we assign for any other questions, problems, or issues.
When can students apply and/or enroll?
Rolling admission means students can enroll at any time
Is the coursework accredited?

Does the student need to be logged in at a particular time every day?
No! Students will be given 24/7 access to their virtual classroom. This offers parents and students the freedom to set their own schedules and learning pace.
